i tracked every metric when i started. none of it moved. what moved was whether i kept showing up. the blogs that compound are the ones written by people who didnt quit in month 3 when Google hadnt noticed them yet.
Google takes 6-12 months to index and rank new sites properly. most people quit at month 2. thats the only gap you need to exploit.
set a publishing schedule you can actually hit. 1 post a week beats 4 posts one week and nothing for 6 weeks.
